30 Minute – Kings Canyon & George Gill Helicopter Experience

Discover the grandeur of Kings Canyon in the heart of the Australian outback from the comfort of a helicopter.
You will be transferred from Kings Canyon Resort in an air-conditioned van to the launch site, where you’ll embark on a 30 minute exploration of the region.
Fly over the 440 million year old canyon and view areas that are not reachable by ground-based touring.
From here, you’ll cruise along George Gill Range to Petermann Pound where you might be lucky enough to see camels and brumbies in their natural habitat, before returning back via Back Canyon.
Tour Details:
- Departures from 8:30am through until Sunset, 365 days per year (weather permitting).
- Collection from within the Kings Canyon Resort is available, at no additional charge via our Air Conditioned mini van.
- Informative commentary is provided by your pilot throughout the flight, including tips on the best angle for those postcard photos.
- Opportunity to have your photo taken in front of the helicopter.
