After admiring the famous monolith of Uluru & Kata Tjuta, also known as the Olgas, trek across to the wondrous salt flats of Lake Amadeus as you search for wild camels amongst the desert plains. Located about 50 kilometres north of Uluru/Ayers Rock, at 180 kilometres long and covering 1032 square kilometres, Lake Amadeus is the largest Salt Lake in the Northern Territory. On this flight you will get to fully appreciate the vastness of this dazzling lake-bed, with the contrast between the stark white salt and the surrounding red desert landscape something to behold.
