Esperance Lake Hillier + Cape Le Grand Scenic Flight
Clear, turquoise waters contrasted by the whitest sand beaches in Australia, whales frolicking in the bay (July-October) topped off with a beautiful pink coloured lake on an Island in the Southern Ocean. This is what awaits you when you book a scenic flight to see Lake Hillier!!
Departing Esperance airport aboard your modern aircraft, with a window seat for every passenger, the flight will begin with a short transit over some of Australia’s most productive Broadacre Arable land, to the Esperance town and Port. Flying across Esperance Bay past Frenchman’s Peak and over the Cape Le Grand National Park, you will be struck by the stunning beauty of the region. Certified by Geoscience Australia, Lucky Bay boasts the whitest sand in Australia. Contrasted with the stunningly clear Turquoise waters, you can see every reef, sandbar, shark, and even whales between July and October.
Your flight will continue onward through the Recherche Archipelago to the unique Middle Island with its world renowned Pink Lake Hillier. The vibrant colour of the lake is permanent, and does not alter even when the water is taken in a container. The pink colour is considered to be due to the presence of the organism Dunaliella salina.
From Middle Island and Lake Hillier, you will return to Esperance Airport via more spectacular scenery and stunning coastal vistas. The flight lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Esperance Islands Boat Cruise
Departing from Taylor St Jetty in the morning, cruise past the Esperance foreshore and Port Authority. The vessel then makes its way around Lovers Cove, West Beach & Blue Haven before heading out to various islands in the Recherche Archipelago.
Enjoy a full commentary throughout the cruise whilst viewing wildlife in their natural environment.

Enjoy complimentary morning tea in the protected bay of Thomas Island. Snorkeling equipment is provided for those wanting to enjoy the water. The vessel then cruises through remaining islands to view wildlife before returning to Esperance before midday.
