Windjana Gorge

Windjana Gorge

Windjana Gorge is a 3.5km gorge carved by the Lennard River through the Napier Range, part of an ancient Devonian limestone reef.

At the base of the gorge with its 300 metre-high walls, deep freshwater pools form during the Kimberley dry season. Surrounded by native fig, cadjeput (melaleuca) and leichardt trees. These pools attract flocks of corellas, fruit bats and freshwater crocodiles.

With Scenic Flights departing from Broome. Take this full day tour, flying over the beautiful Western Kimberley Landscape. With views of Roebuck Bay, the Fitzroy River, Windjana Gorge and Napier Range.
